Jacob wanted some candy from Papa Louie's candy dish and Nana Paula offered it to him. They were all the same, individually wrapped orange slices. Jacob was taking a long time picking one out, which puzzled Nana, being that they were all the same. Nana said, "Jacob, what's wrong? Why are you taking so long?" or something to that effect. Jacob replied, "Oh, I'm just trying to find one without ants." Nana didn't have her glasses on so she didn't see that a bunch of ants had gotten into the candy! Jacob was very calm when he answered Nana, like nothing was out of the ordinary, he just preferred a piece without ants in it!

ha! i laughed out loud at this one.
this blog is a great idea. you'll have to carry around a pen and paper all the time so you can write stuff down before forgetting it. my kids say stuff all day long, but it goes in one ear and right out the other. and then i always wish i could remember those things to share with daddy when he comes home.
